The Mohammed Bin Rashid Library (MBRL) is Dubai's flagship cultural institution, a seven-storey landmark on Dubai Creek designed in the shape of an open book on a lectern. Opened in June 2022 at a cost of AED 1 billion, it houses over 4.5 million printed, digital and audio books across nine specialised libraries, plus a 550-seat theatre, exhibition spaces, a children's library, a rare books museum and a creekside café.
