Dubai Opera

Dubai Opera is Downtown Dubai's cultural centrepiece, a 2,000-seat dhow-shaped theatre on the Burj Khalifa Lake hosting opera, ballet, classical concerts, musicals, plays, comedy shows and live music. Designed to resemble a traditional Arabian dhow sailing vessel by architect Janus Rostock, the venue features three modes – theatre, concert hall and flat-floor banquet – that can transform within hours. Includes rooftop restaurants, a sky bar, a retail plaza and direct views of Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain.
